Looking for our old website? http://homesteadartclub.googlepages.com/. The Homestead Art Club (HAC) has been in existence since 1940. It has included the novice to the professional for over 60 years. HAC struggled to stay together after Hurricane Andrew. Through the dedication of some of its members, it not only survived but it became a very active non-profit organization. If you are an aspiring artist, a new artist in the South Florida community, or a professional looking for a place in South Florida to sell your art, you need to get involved with this group. They accept all artists with open arms and hope more will get involved as HAC board members and volunteers. Some of the members are not artists but support the group, the arts, and work at the gallery to help. One of the big advantages of becoming a member is access to display at Gallery 100, the cooperative gallery located in Prime Outlets Mall in Florida City. If you are a collector, this is a great place to find wares by local artists in a wide variety of mediums, and to enjoy browsing art among the fine shops in Prime Outlets. County Commissioners. | Art In The AfternoonDisplays of Florida artists' works, lessons, free demonstrations, potluck and a meet the artist event. Usually held on the third Saturday of every month, but schedule sometimes changes to accommodate special show receptions and awards. Check with the club for current month's schedule.
